1. Case study
To create a series of commercials from scratch, highlighting the use of Tangoe’s “bots” that are utilized to aid in customer care and support behind the scenes.
Bringing attention to not only the bots themselves, but the people that create and work with the bots daily.
2. Result
A fun exploratory and creative exercise done within a brief span of time while simultaneously juggling a number of collateral pieces for the event in which this would debut.
The end resulted exceeded expectations exponentially. Not only had the company never had creative like this done for them before, they’d also had never had this level of
creativity available to them in-house.
3. Experience
Working hands on with the designer on my team, Jasin Thomason was a blast! He immediately grasped the concept, and as soon as his illustrations were complete I was able to
begin building the world of these bots and animating them with ease. Concept Development, Storyboarding, Animation, Post-Production.
Project Details
This project presented some unique challenges from the onset. Being upfront about having no budget, really allowed for me to utilize my imagination more and in turn pass that energy along to my creative team.
I’ve been a big animation fan my whole life and since our bots only existed in an illustrated format, tweaking their stylization slightly to embody this nostalgic era not only was well received by clients,
but really commanded attention when scrolling social media. I look forward to deeper dives into animation within the near future.
