About

A closer look into the creative process and execution of a selected project.

3. To Market

1. Challenge

PCMag.com is a go-to source for tech news, reviews, and analysis — but they needed a way to translate that expertise into video content that was as compelling as it was informative. The challenge was to create motion that enhanced the storytelling without overwhelming it, all while staying true to PCMag’s recognizable brand.

2. Result

The motion work I created helped expand PCMag’s video footprint and added polish to their editorial and social content. The videos consistently drove stronger engagement, with higher views, shares, and click-throughs compared to static posts. Beyond performance, the graphics contributed to a consistent, recognizable visual style that reinforced PCMag’s authority and made complex tech topics feel more approachable.

3. Experience

I led the design and animation of motion graphics across a variety of formats — from quick-hit social teasers to long-form editorial features. Every piece was crafted to support the story, using clean layouts, smart transitions, and PCMag’s signature red, black, and white palette. I worked closely with editors and producers to ensure the graphics not only looked good, but also helped explain and highlight key points — whether that was in a laptop review, a cybersecurity deep-dive, or a top-10 roundup.
